Easy Healthy Lunch Idea: Chicken Snack Wraps!

Need a new, healthy lunch recipe? I have been eating these NONSTOP. I am not the biggest meat-eater, but I’m trying to ease back into it for the protein!  I am so lazy when it comes to cooking, so these are perfect if you don’t have much time or just want simplicity. These remind me so much of the old McDonald’s snack wraps!

FOR THREE MINI WRAPS YOU WILL NEED:

  • 4oz, or about two tenders Frozen Chicken Strips (I use frozen Tyson tenders because they’re super easy to throw in the air-fryer, but you can cook your own chicken if you don’t want the breading!)

  • 1/3 cup Shredded Lettuce (My mom grows lettuce, so I just cut off a few leaves and chop them up!)

  • 1 TBSP Ranch (I used regular Hidden Valley Ranch, but you can use whatever you like)

  • 3 mini Tortillas (These are mini street tacos, so that’s why I used three. You could use protein wraps for extra protein in this meal, or one big tortilla and make it more of a burrito!)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare your chicken! I like to put mine in the air-fryer, first on the bake setting for about 5 minutes. Then, I do the air-fry setting for about 14 minutes, flipping them halfway. This is totally up to you and the chicken you use. Follow the directions for your specific ones.

  2. Cut chicken tenders into smaller pieces. I like to make mine in little chunks or squares.

  3. Divide the chicken equally into three mini tortillas. Again, if you choose to make one larger wrap, you would just put all the chicken on that tortilla.

  4. Spread out your lettuce onto the wraps.

  5. Drizzle your ranch and enjoy!
